Lakers fall to OKC. And the best moments from last night’s game. All that and more coming up on LNTV.

Last night the Thunder struck down the Lakers 119 to 90 in a blow out game that has some Lakers fans worried about the fate of their team. In the first meeting since Metta elbowed Harden, Oklahoma fans were charged up, booing World Peace every time he had the ball. The Lakers faced the Thunder less than 48 hours after closing out the Nuggets, while OKC had 8 days off.

Russell Westbrook was the key to the game with 27 points and nine assists. Scoring champ Kevin Durant added 25 points. The Thunder were up by 15 at halftime, then went on a 15-2 scoring spree that fueled the crowd of Genius Bar employee look-a-likes. At one point the Thunder were up by 35 points. OKC shot 53 percent and finally got their turnover issues under control, committing just one.

Top Comment from last week goes to Lakers4Life213 who says, “Bynumite and Gasol need to wake up and play how they usually do…if you’re an All-Star you need to play like one. Bynum looks like a D-League player.” Well, last night we did see an improvement from Bynum, who tied Kobe with 20 points. Bynum also had 14 rebounds. But you know you’re in trouble when Bynum and Kobe tie in scoring.

And Ramon Sessions reportedly sprained his ankle in the second quarter, according to Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register. This explains Sessions’ poor performance during the game.

Some highlights from last night. The look on Metta’s face when he was caught, fouling Harden again. A deer in the headlights. And Ebanks getting ejected from the game and taking off his shirt. The female fans were totally cool with it.

The Lakers play at OKC again on Wednesday night. You can watch the game at 6:30 PM Pacific time on TNT. Or you can come to our viewing party at the ESPN Zone. Go to LakersNation.com for details.

Now, onto the rest of the league. The Seventy-Sixers and the Celtics are now tied 1-1 after a very close Game 2. Philadephia showed Boston no love, winning 82 – 81 after Evan Turner’s layup put the Sixers ahead to stay with less than a minute left to play.

And finally, Charles Barkley thinks that Andrew Bynum will no longer improve despite only being 24 years old. Let us know what you think of Sir Charles’ statement in the comments below.
