After returning from their Grammy trip, the Los Angeles Lakers were hoping for some good news as all of their injured players except Kobe Bryant were re-evaluated today. While Steve Blake and Jordan Farmar were cleared for basketball activities, it appears Xavier Henry will be out another week.

According to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters, Henry’s MRI showed no changes and will be out another week with a bone bruise:

Since sustaining the injury on December 29 against the Philadelphia 76ers, Henry has been previously re-evaluated and has shown no signs of improvement. With Blake and Farmar returning in the near future, it’ll put less pressure on Henry to return and fully recover from this injury.

In his first season with the Lakers, Henry has been a pleasant surprise averaging 10.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 21.8 minutes. When all three point guards went down with injuries, Henry did a solid job of playing the point before his bone bruise injury.
