After news broke Monday morning that Lakers’ reserve big man Jordan Hill was being charged with felony assault, questions arose on whether or not he would be able to suit up for the crucial Game 2 between L.A. and the Denver Nuggets.
Hill reportedly was going to have to appear in court in Houston, TX on Tuesday morning, and would have to get himself back to L.A. in time for the game, which started at 7:30 p.m. PST.
Now, according to Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times, Hill will be in action on Tuesday for Game 2.
Hill’s agent said the Lakers forward did not have to appear in court Tuesday and would spend tonight resting up for Game 2 against Denver.
The rest of the details haven’t been released yet, but this comes as good news for the Lakers, who could use Hill’s recent spike in production.
During Game 1 Hill recorded his first career post-season double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
