Lakers Nation spent all day at Laker Girls tryouts for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. I know, poor us? Right? No seriously…Between maneuvering around flexible girls in briefs and crop tops (the dress code for tryouts), I’m surprised we managed to get any work done. I caught up with Laker Girls from last season, talked to a few first time contenders, and chatted with Laker Girls Director, Lisa Estrada. Out of several hundred hopefuls, the Laker Girls squad will get dwindled down to 22 members, 18 of which perform during a game.
It’s only once a year that I actually get to feel overwhelmed by estrogen in this business…Today’s been fun, but I’ll definitely be looking forward to seeing the Lakers back in action.
