Lakers Nation Believes Lakers Will Win Three Of First Five Games

The 2013-2014 schedule has been released and the Lakers have many intriguing games through out the season.

This upcoming season the Lakers will need to hit the ground running from the beginning because they have a brutal schedule start to the season.

The Lakers will open up the season against some of the NBA’s best, so we decided to ask Lakers Nation if they can predict how many wins will the Lakers finish with after their first five games:

Lakers Nation has spoken, and 41 percent believed the Lakers would finish their first five games with three victories. With three of the games being at the Staples Center, it looks like the voters were counting on the home court advantage.

The Lakers will face a very tough Clippers team that improved from last season, and that is going to be a difficult matchup. It does not get any easier when the Lakers visit the splash brothers and the rest of the Golden State Warriors.

Just when you thought it could not get any worse, the defending Western Conference Champion San Antonio Spurs will come to Staples Center and try to once again earn another victory at the expense of the Lakers. The Spurs swept the Lakers in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

At this point it, is possible the Lakers might start the season at 0-3, but the Clippers so called “rivalry” and the revenge factor might be enough for the Lakers to get the win.

The Lakers now have to travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks and then they come home to host the Atlanta Hawks. Luckily for the Lakers, the Mavericks and Hawks are not as talented as the first three opponents, and they have a realistic shot at earning some victories.
