The Lakers have been struggling this week and that is putting it nicely. They have lost five games in a row and their injured key players might not be returning any time soon.  The Lakers lost to the two best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat, which is expected.

Given the injury situation, head coach Mike D’Antoni has done an impressive job so far, but this season has been painful to watch. At this point, most Lakers’ fans are looking towards the future and hopefully the Lakers are lucky enough to land a high lottery pick.

Check it all out in our top 10 tweets of the week.

1. I think Greg Oden checked into the game.

2. Maybe Mike D’Antoni isn’t the problem after all.

3. The third quarter has not been nice to the Lakers.

4. At least the Lakers’ future looks good on NBA 2K14.

5. It has been that kind of season.

6. Would it be smart for the Lakers to get Marcus Smart?

7. A new 30 for 30 coming to a television near you.

8. Keep your head up Laker fans.

9. Good effort Lakers. The Pacers are just too good.

10. When is the NBA lottery again?
