February is a good month for sneakerheads, but one shoe in particular will make Kobe Bryant fans very happy. Adidas will release the Crazy 1 “White” colorway this Friday giving Kobe fans an opportunity to purchase Bryant’s first signature shoe.

The Adidas Crazy 1 was formerly known as “The Kobe”, but once Bryant joined Nike, Adidas had to go with a different name. Although Kobe is no longer a part of Adidas, they are taking full advantage of his popularity. The Crazy 1 was originally released in 2000 and Bryant wore these kicks while they eliminated the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals. These shoes were on Kobe’s feet when he won his first NBA Championship.

Kobe rockin Adidas Crazy One

The Crazy 1 “White” are very similar to the ones that were released fourteen years ago, but Adidas did make some small changes to the sneaker. It won’t be as comfortable as the original version, but the overall, the Crazy 1 will be a very good sneaker on and off the court.

The Crazy 1 will evoke nostalgia for many Bryant fans. These shoes take you back to a time when Bryant was barely 21 years old and still had his signature fro. For many, these shoes were the beginning of their Kobe collection, and it will be difficult to pass up the opportunity at owning a part of history.
