Lakers Nation News And Rumors Recap: Jim And Johnny Buss Looking To Sell Their Ownership Shares
Lakers News: Jeanie Buss Won’t ‘speculate’ On What Will Happen After This Season

Details surrounding last week’s stunning news that Johnny and Jim Buss supposedly planned to overthrow controlling owner Jeanie Buss have started to surface. According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the two brothers were looking to cash out their ownership shares and force the Buss siblings to sell the Lakers franchise.

Jeanie was forced to take swift legal action to ensure she would remain as the controlling owner, and according to the ESPN piece, she has the support of her other three siblings.

The legal battle is far from over and Johnny and Jim won’t go silently into the night. Both brothers are upset at their involvement with the franchise and both seem ready to drag this out until they get what they want.
