Jackson goes into great detail about the skill sets of both players and even compares their personality. Since he announced he was writing a book, Jackson joined Twitter and started his promotional tour last night with an appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

It’s been a lot for Lakers fans as the man they hope to call coach isn’t employed by the organization and seems intent on taking a front office position with an NBA organization.
So, we asked Lakers Nation if Phil’s promotional tour for his new book was a distraction to the Lakers:
In a surprising landslide, 91 percent felt that Phil’s book tour isn’t a distraction while a select few believe that it isn’t. Kobe Bryant and Jeanie Buss have both weighed in on the discussion as to the comparisons of the Mamba and Jordan.
While the debate has waged on about which player is better, Jackson seems to be taking advantage of his book as a way to promote his brand. It’s been great to get the Zen Master’s insight as he live-tweeted during select NBA games, but him talking about a return to the NBA, is a tease for Lakers fans.
While Jackson talks a lot about the differences between Kobe and Jordan, hopefully his book provides insight into other great aspects of his 11 championships as an NBA coach.
