The Los Angeles Lakers are sliding down the Western Conference standings and they need to turn their season around if they want to make the post-season. However, if you ask some people, the Lakers are doing just the right thing to build for the future.

As the team is struggling to get wins, their odds of winning the draft lottery are increasing. The Lakers also continue to dominate trade rumors and many are expected the front office to make a deal in the near future. It was another busy week for the Lakers and here is a look back:
