The Los Angeles Lakers have 16 banners hanging from the rafters and the front office must make major changes to the roster if it wants to raise number 17. The 2014 Draft is approaching rapidly and the Lakers are preparing for their much anticipated rebuilding process. To sort things out, here is a look back at the past seven days for the Lakers:

Kobe Bryant is scheduled to promote an upcoming documentary. 

Phil Jackson is set to meet Carmelo Anthony in Los Angeles.

The Lakers will begin the Las Vegas Summer League on July 11.  

Julius Randle may need foot surgery which will sideline him for 2-3 months.
