We would like to take a quick minute to wish a very happy birthday to the legendary Earvin “Magic” Johnson, who turned 53 years-old today.
The Hall of Fame point guard is still widely regarded as one of the best players of all-time, and helped lead the Lakers to five championships during the 1980s. His no-look passes and dazzling style of play helped birth the ‘Showtime’ era in Los Angeles, and turned basketball games into social events.

Johnson is also known for his endeavors off the court, as he is one of the most successful businessmen in the world as well. He owns numerous businesses around Los Angeles and the rest of the country, and most recently was a part of an ownership group that bought the Los Angeles Dodgers.
