The Los Angeles Lakers main focus seems to fall towards NBA free agency in 2015. With big market names like Lebron James and Rajon Rondo, the Lakers seem to keep their eye on one particular player among the list of free agents.
That particular player is perennial All-Star Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves. In most recent news, reports are coming in saying Kevin Love’s decision in free agency 2015 will be a choice between staying with the Timberwolves or signing with the Lakers.

The rumors surrounding Love has been pretty consistent all year long with numerous reports from the media talking about the 25-year-old prospect from UCLA. With all the indication of news and rumors surrounding Kevin Love, it’s clear the Lakers are focused on spending big in the next two off-seasons to create a championship contending team.
The Lakers front office have also been pretty busy about their current plans this off-season. General Manager of the Lakers, Mitch Kupchak, decided to not use the stretch provision on Lakers veteran point guard Steve Nash.
The decision was made due to the plan on saving a majority of their cap space for free agency in 2015, not this summer. The Lakers long-term goal is to get back into title contention by the process of saving the proper amount of cap space. Hopefully, Lakers management can get the team back on track and achieve a 17th championship banner in the near future.
