The Lakers have been busy this off-season with a head coaching search, the number seven pick in the NBA Draft, and the upcoming free-agency.

Tuesday saw the Lakers add another name to the list of potential head coaches interviewed. Current Lakers assistant coach Kurt Rambis had an interview with the front office discussing the current vacancy left by Mike D’Antoni.

So far, the Lakers have met with Mike Dunleavy, Byron Scott, and Rambis. Lionel Hollins and Alvin Gentry are expected to have interviews this week as well. Scott believes his relationship with Kobe Bryant gives him an advantage in the search.

As the team continues to scout prospects, news of Steve Nash hosting an NBA TV documentary on the 1984 Draft surfaced. Some believe this year’s draft to be one of the deep draft just as the 1984 one was.

In terms of free agency, rumors emerged over the Lakers’ interest in Carmelo Anthony. It appears the team has no intention of pairing Anthony with Kobe Bryant this summer.
