Lakers News: Antawn Jamison Talks About Dwight Howard’s Revival

Los Angeles Lakers forward Antawn Jamison spoke to ESPN 710 Radio on Wednesday and he touched upon a variety of different topics, including the revival of teammate Dwight Howard.

Early on in the season, Howard was not his normal self and a lot of that was due to the fact that he did not fully recover from his back injury. In addition, it took time for Howard to get accustomed to the new lifestyle and pressures of playing in Los Angeles. However, as the season progresses Howard is beginning to look more like the All-Star center that he was in Orlando.

Jamison told ESPN Radio that Howard just had to look himself in the mirror to remind himself how dominant he could actually be.

Compared to his play early on in the season, Howard has vastly improved his game. The Lakers are looking more and more like a playoff team and a lot of that is due to the efforts of Howard. The better Howard performs on the court, the more of a threat the Lakers become in the Western Conference.

It is the final stretch of the regular season and if the Lakers can get Howard in his best shape, the team will be very dangerous in the first round.
