Following the loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, head coach Byron Scott made it a clear that changes to the starting lineup were right around the corner. Scott didn’t waste any time making the change with the Lakers expected to have a few new starters on Sunday against the Boston Celtics.

According to Shahan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles, Scott will have Carlos Boozer back in the starting lineup:
Lakers will start Clarkson, Ellington, Kelly, Boozer, Sacre per Byron Scott

Back in December, Scott chose to take both Boozer and Jeremy Lin out of the starting lineup. Both players still ended up playing similar minutes off the bench, but were no longer starters for the Lakers.
As it has been the case all season long, Scott will continue to shake things up in terms of the rotation with 28 games left to go in the regular season. Everyone on the current roster, who isn’t done for the year due to injury, has been a starter as some point during the season except for Nick Young.
After Friday’s game against the Nets, Young was asked about whether he’d like to take a shot at being a starter. The outspoken guard was all for the prospect of starting, but it remains to be seen if Scott will give him the nod.
