Lakers News: Camp Lakers 2013 Dates Announced

Camp Lakers KidsThe Lakers have announced their 14th annual youth basketball camp, most commonly know as “Camp Lakers.” Welcome to boys and girls ages 9-18, Camp Lakers is designed not only to fine tune a broad range of basketball skills, but also to promote the values of hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

Coaches fly in from all over the country to participate in this much anticipated camp. Plus, every year, current and former Lakers players and coaches make guest appearances not only to talk to the kids, but also help with on-court basketball instruction.

The camp has taken place at a variety of places. This year, Next Level Sports Complex, a facility that features 11 all-indoor basketball courts, will be the home of Camp Lakers, which will be split up into two sessions (July 1st – July 4th; July 8th-July 11th) and will run from 9am – 4pm each day.

At $350 per session, lunch is provided daily to each camper. The best part is that net proceeds from the camps are used by the Lakers for charitable purposes.

For more information, please call the camp hotline at (310) 426-6055, email camps2013@la-lakers.com or visit the Lakers website at www.lakers.com.
