The Los Angeles Lakers have officially played their last game of the 2015-16 NBA season. Kobe Bryant ended the season on a high note dropping a season-high 60 points on the Utah Jazz while leading the team to victory at the Staples Center.

With the 2015-16 campaign behind them, the Lakers organization and its players will head into the NBA off-season with a lot of questions to be answered. One of those questions, although not pressing at the moment, is which players will be on the floor for the Lakers the next time to team suits up in Las Vegas, Nevada for the NBA Summer League.

Apparently, point guard D’Angelo Russell is looking forward to the prospect of playing in the Summer League for a second time in July. During Russell’s exit interview on Thursday, the Ohio State product let it be known that he expects to play in Summer League and hopes his young teammates join him, via Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

The NBA Summer League will get underway in Las Vegas on July 8 with teams playing up to the 18th. Although Russell is looking forward to playing, Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson may have other ideas after having already played in the Summer League twice thus far.

Although Clarkson and Randle’s status for Summer League is uncertain at this point, Larry Nance Jr. also wants to be on the floor come July, via Winters:

Russell and Nance will likely be joined by Anthony Brown as well as the rookie the team may acquire if able to keep their lottery pick. The Lakers’ fate will be determined on May 17 in the NBA Draft Lottery with the NBA Draft following on June 23.
