Lakers News: Dwight Howard Apologizes On Twitter After Series Loss

Dwight HowardDwight Howard let it all out on Twitter early Monday morning, expressing his frustrations with how the season ended and what he believes he can improve on.

It was a long night for Dwight and the Lakers Sunday, as after an emotionally difficult season came to an end, some of the emotions were let out too soon. Being at the helm of talks by critics throughout the season on the discussion on racking up too many fouls too early and maturity on the floor, Howard definitely proved critics right, grabbing his second technical of the night just after halftime and getting ejected.

The first technical was received after Howard aggressively responded to four Spurs defenders grabbing each of his limbs excessively. The second, which many claim should have been a warning rather than an ejection, was received after Howard complained toward the referee after a similar foul. He was then seen still stating his case, yelling over his shoulder while heading into the locker room, also pleading his case to a floor level Mitch Kupchak.

Definitely not the exit you want to make in front of the home crowd the final time in the season, and maybe in your Laker career.

Expressing his apologies and love for the fans of Los Angeles, Dwight Howard stated that he needs to learn to “breathe,” even cracking a joke about Charlie Sheen in the process.

Maybe in order to breathe, Howard needs some Zen Master half time talks in the future, huh, Phil?

He topped it all off stating that he hopes to be able to make it all up to the fans and his teammates.

We hope so too, Dwight.
