This comes hours after an announcement that the team was expecting Howard to play on Sunday. Instead, the team will once again be using Pau Gasol as their starting center with Metta World Peace and Earl Clark splitting the back-up duties.
Los Angeles takes on the Pistons as 10:00 AM PST.
