The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their third consecutive game on Monday night after losing to the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls outplayed the Lakers on both ends of the court and their defensive intensity was something to applaud.

After the game, Dwight Howard spoke to John Ireland and he talked about the touches he got on the offensive end. Howard was not happy with his opportunities and was frustrated with how the game turned out for him.

In almost 30 minutes of play, Howard had eight points on 2-5 shooting and 4-8 at the free-throw line. Howard finished the game with a plus/minus of -4 and it was a very disappointing performance on his part.

This Lakers team is clearly headed in the wrong direction and there is a high possibility that it misses the playoffs. After such an impressive off-season, it is sad seeing the team falter. The roster is very talented, but the players cannot seem to figure it out. Howard is upset with the touches he’s getting on the offensive end and something like this will only lead to more trouble down the road.
