Lakers News: Dwight Howard Will Start Against Kings

The Los Angeles Lakers have suffered a rash of injuries as of late, with Kobe Bryant ailing from a foot injury, Steve Nash rolling an ankle and Metta World Peace dealing with a recently-dislocated middle finger.

Fortunately, none of these injuries have been major, as only Kobe appears to be the biggest concern in that department moving forward with the season opener against the Dallas Mavericks in doubt.

Dwight Howard, on the other hand, has dealt with a setback of his own with soreness in his surgically repaired back after making his debut for the Lakers last Sunday. Despite sitting out Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, Howard is reportedly ready to get back on the floor tonight against the Sacramento Kings.
