Lakers News: Jodie Meeks Calls Losing Streak Another ‘Bad Nightmare’

Veteran shooting guard Jodie Meeks was clearly unhappy after a sixth straight loss suffered by the Los Angeles Lakers to the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on Friday night. Meeks spoke to the media after the loss saying the following according to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters:

The Lakers were outplayed by one of the worst teams in the NBA on Friday, getting beat by the Bobcats, 110-100.

In the loss to Charlotte, Meeks scored 19 points in a less than stellar shooting night for the 26-year-old. Meeks hit only three out of 10 shots from beyond the arc and 5-of-15 from the floor.

As for the rest of the Lakers, Pau Gasol led the way with 24 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. Nick Young pitched in with 21 points off the bench.
