The Los Angeles Lakers are now two games below .500 after their horrid performance in Phoenix.
Just days removed from their debacle in Oakland, the Lakers were once again blown out of the building. The surprisingly tough Suns team handled the Lakers without any trouble Monday night and walked off the court with a 117-90 victory. Without a true point guard on the roster, the Lakers struggled mightily on the offensive end and could not establish any type of rhythm.
After the game, Jodie Meeks spoke to reporters and it was clear that he was disappointed with how the team showed up.
“This is kind of embarrassing for all of us, and nobody wants to be embarrassed.” – Jodie Meeks on @TWCSportsNet

No one in the lineup played well and it was evident in the early goings that the Lakers were going to have a difficult time matching up against the Suns. Not only was Phoenix quicker and more explosiveness than the Lakers, but it was also more active on the defensive end.
The road will not get any easier for the Lakers as they will have the Miami Heat coming into town for a much anticipated Christmas Day matchup.
