It has been rough season to say the least for the Los Angeles Lakers with injuries being a major problem all year long.

Fortunately, the season is mercifully coming to an end for the Lakers with only five games left on the schedule. Despite only a handful of games left, veteran point guard Jordan Farmar will return to the floor against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday according to Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report:
Jordan Farmar (groin) also told me before the game he will play Tuesday against Houston.

Farmar has been out of commission for the last 11 games with a groin injury he suffered in practice. Although Farmar has dealt with numerous injuries over the course of the season, the two-time NBA champion has shown enough to merit being re-signed by the team this summer.
As of right now, there’s been no clear indication on who the Lakers are planning on re-signing. Farmar might be at the top of a short list of players receiving consideration to be re-signed by the team, but it could easily go the other way with the team possible drafting a point guard or signing a free agent like Kyle Lowry.
Farmar has shown interest in returning next season along with a few other players on the current squad. Jodie Meeks, Wes Johnson and Xavier Henry are all interested in returning, but there’s no guarantee any of the players mentioned will be retained.
