After missing the last three games due to a sprained big toe on his left foot, Josh McRoberts will miss his fourth game on Sunday when the Memphis Grizzlies come to town, according to Mark Medina of the L.A. Times.
The Lakers forward first suffered the injury in the Lakers second game of the season against the Sacramento Kings. He managed to finish that game before sitting out the following game. He hasn’t been back on the court for L.A. since.
An MRI exam and CT scan performed last Tuesday reportedly did not show any fractures in the toe.
There has been no doubt that the Lakers have missed McRoberts since his absence began back in December. His energy off the bench is something the team has sorely lacked over the last few games.
There is no timetable for McRoberts’ return. The Lakers next game is Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns.
