Lakers News: Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol Will Play Friday vs. Wizards

After speculation on Thursday that Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol were “expected” to play tonight against the Wizards, it has been confirmed by head coach Mike D’Antoni that both Bryant and Gasol will be on the court when the Lakers take on the Wizards at Staples Center.

According to the official Lakers Twitter account, L.A. will have both guys back in action on Friday.

 

As mentioned in the tweet, D’Antoni also mentioned that Gasol will probably start, instantly relegating Earl Clark back to the bench.

Bryant, Gasol and the Lakers will host the Wizards tonight at 7:30 at Staples Center.
