As usual, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant will be keeping busy during the NBA off-season once again this year. Bryant may be recovering from yet another season-ending surgery, but that won’t stop him from making a major public appearance next month.

As Markazi stated, this BET event will be held on Kobe’s home turf only walking distance from the Staples Center at the L.A. Convention Center on June 27. This will be two days after the 2015 NBA Draft and a few days before the start of NBA free agency.
Mayweather and Bryant will join a few others appearing in the BET event, via BET.com:
Floyd Mayweather, Kobe Bryant, Janelle Monae, George Clinton and Nicole Beharie are just some of the industry icons who will share their views on success, personal challenges and top world issues on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Bryant might come into these “Genius Talks” with a smile on his face from ear to ear. The five-time NBA champion will find out which rookies he’ll be playing alongside next season with Jahlil Okafor or Karl-Anthony Towns more than likely being one of them.
Along with talking about his incredible success on and off the court, Kobe will likely be asked questions about his health, prospect of the Lakers having a competitive squad and if he’ll retire after next season.
Needless to say, it’ll be an event Lakers fans won’t want to miss.
