Lakers News: Kobe Says Lakers Will Be Big Problem In Playoffs

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Denver NuggetsIn a recent interview with The Dan Patrick Show, Kobe Bryant discussed a wide variety of topics. Whether it was the team’s struggles for the majority of this season, the reported issues between Bryant and Dwight Howard, and even the possibility of Bryant winning the MVP award this season.

So what happens if the Lakers do happen to make the playoffs? Bryant wasn’t shy about that.

“We’re going to be a huge problem.”

There’s no question the Lakers have been more successful over the last three weeks than they were the first four months of the season. With their fourth straight win on Tuesday night in Orlando, the Lakers have crawled back into the playoff picture, clinging to the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

If the Lakers do reach the postseason they’ll most likely face the Spurs, Thunder, Grizzlies or Clippers, four teams that the Lakers are a combined 1-9 against this season. So even though they’ve been better recently, it’s going to be an uphill climb if they reach the playoffs.
