After Game 1 between the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2018 NBA Eastern Conference Finals, Kyle Kuzma took questions from basketball fans on Twitter to discuss numerous topics from his top-five underrated players in the league right now to the best player to never win a championship.
While plenty of focus is on where LeBron James places among the NBA’s greatest talents, another of the most-debated topics over the last couple of years has been all-time starting lineups.
While some players get creative with theirs, Kuzma selected his based on position and included two former Los Angeles Lakers in Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar:

Based on each position, Kuzma’s all-time starting lineup is standard for the most part among basketball fans. There will be debates about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at the center position, but he is widely underrated and is perhaps the greatest player of all-time.
While Kuzma is learning by watching the 2018 NBA Playoffs, there are high expectations for him and the Lakers as they prepare for the 2018-19 NBA season.
Coming off 35 wins which were a nine-game improvement from the previous season, the Lakers are expected to make the playoffs with or without two max-contract free agents.
Unlike previous seasons where the Lakers were looking to speed up the rebuilding process by signing a max contract free agent, the young core of Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Julius Randle are looking to grow into those roles.
