Frazier is known as a lights-out three-point shooter as he shot over 43 percent from three-point range in his three seasons with the Florida Gators. He played on the Golden State Warriors Summer League team where he averaged 4.5 points in six contests.

The addition of Frazier gives the Lakers a total of 16 players under contract. The team has 12 guaranteed deals, to go along with the non-guaranteed contracts of Jabari Brown and Tarik Black and the two recent signings of Frazier and Holmes.
