Nance went after a loose ball in the third quarter and came up knowing he had hurt himself, via Lakers reporter Mike Trudell:

Nance is no stranger to knee injuries with the Wyoming product tearing the ACL in his right knee during his junior year with the Cowboys. There’s no telling how serious the injury is yet, but it appeared to be non-contact which is never a good thing.

As a result of the injury sustained on the court in the second half, Nance has been ruled out of the rest of the game against the Hornets, according to Mark Medina of the L.A. Daily News:

After cruising to a 19-point lead, the Hornets were able to get back into the game in the third quarter and retake the lead. Following Nance’s injury, the Lakers were able to bounce back, but Charlotte continues to battle.
