The Los Angeles Lakers young core of players grew by four at the 2017 NBA Draft, as they took UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick before taking Utah forward Kyle Kuzma at 27, Villanova guard Josh Hart at 30 and Indiana center Thomas Bryant at 42.

Ball was introduced to the L.A. media by himself the day after the draft, and then the other three held their at the Lakers practice facility in El Segundo this past week.

Now that they are all officially part of the Lakers organization, they can begin working out and getting to know their teammates ahead of Summer League, which is just under a week away from tipping off in Las Vegas.

Los Angeles power forward Larry Nance Jr., who is now considered a veteran in the Lakers young locker room heading into his third season, recently took the rookies paintballing, via Nance’s official Instagram account:

Welcomed the boys to LA with some paintball ???? S/O @beardegidio for showing us a good time today

Second-year center Ivica Zubac, who will be playing in the Summer League with Kuzma, Hart and Bryant, also joined them to play paintball.

At 24-years-old Nance has put emphasis on wanting to become a leader for the Lakers young core, and treating the rookies to a fun day of paintball to help get to know each other is a good way to begin doing that.
