Through all of the injuries, the Los Angeles Lakers have suffered so far this season, one player who has been able to avoid everything is veteran Luol Deng.

Deng is the only player to start every game so far this season, but now that may be in danger. According to Mark Medina of the LA Daily News he is being listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to bicep tendinitis:

Deng has had an up and down season so far. He struggled through much of the beginning of the season but seemed to find himself in December. Over a two-week span, Deng scored in double figures in eight of nine games.

The last four games have seen a return to the early-season struggles from Deng however as he has averaged only 4.3 points while shooting 29.1 percent from the field. Perhaps this injury could have something to do with Deng’s sudden drop-off after playing so well.

Throughout the course of his career, Deng has rarely dealt with any serious injuries, and this doesn’t look to be anything that would last for a long time.

If Deng were to sit out, Walton would likely turn to rookie Brandon Ingram to start in his place.
