The Los Angeles Clippers had one of their best seasons in franchise history, but all that euphoria came to an end Friday night when they were defeated by the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies ousted the Clippers in the first round even though Los Angeles held a better record and higher seed.

The Lakers, the Clippers’ cross-town rivals, also had their season end in the opening round and now both teams enter the off-season with some questions to answer. The Lakers did start their summer earlier than expected and the players have been tweeting throughout the NBA playoffs.
Lakers forward Metta World Peace is once again active on the social networking website, and Friday night he had some not so kind words for his former teammate, Matt Barnes. Barnes, now a member of the Clippers, signed with the franchise over the summer after the Lakers decided not to extend his contract.
How did Matt Barnes play so well before and after he was a Laker? I believe he has always been good. Chemistry is everything. Go Matt!

During his time with the Lakers, Barnes was not very consistent and the team definitely expected more out of him when they inked a deal with the forward. As a member of the Lakers, Barnes averaged 7.3 points and 4.9 rebounds a game, but he was not the defensive stopper the Lakers wanted him to be.
