Lakers News: Mike D’Antoni, Mitch Kupchak and Jim Buss Visit Kobe

Since going down with his Achilles injury, Kobe has had a variety of teammates come visit him at his home. First it was Dwight Howard and Jodie Meeks, then it was Pau Gasol. Now it seems the front office paid Kobe a visit. According to Bryant’s Instagram account, he got a visit from coach Mike D’Antoni, general manager Mitch Kupchak, and team VP Jim Buss.

kobeinstagramAlong with the picture Kobe posted the following caption;

“Got a few more visitors today … Jimmy B, Mitch K and Mike D.  We talked about the season, next season and more importantly about the strategy for this upcoming series #lakerfam #amnestywho?? Lol #coachvino.”

Bryant is out for (at least) the rest of this season, but could be back once next season starts – at least that’s what D’Antoni believes.

So while Bryant stays home and continues to recover from his injury, D’Antoni and the Lakers travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs in Game 1 of their first round series.
