After playing in only eight minutes against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, Nick Young clearly wasn’t happy about the lack of playing time and left Staples Center without talking to reporters in the locker room.

Unfortunately, circumstances didn’t get any better for Young or the Lakers on Monday. According to Lakers Nation reporter Serena Winters, Young suffered a sprained ankle during practice:
Nick Young sprained his ankle at practice today. Byron Scott didn't know how bad it was, but didn't seem too concerned.

With Kobe Bryant electing to have surgery on his injured shoulder, Young will likely have to pick up the slack offensively. The veteran guard/forward has struggled as of late with his shooting percentage dropping to a career-low of 37.3.
As of right now, Young and Scott don’t appear to be on the same page. Scott made a statement by benching the sixth man in the second half against the Rockets and it remains to be seen how Young will respond.
