Lakers News: Rick Fox Says Dwight Howard Needs to Change Attitude

Kobe Bryant, Dwight HowardOn ESPN Radio 710, Rick Fox had harsh words for Dwight Howard. Appearing on the Max and Marcellus show, Fox was critical of Howard’s body language on the court.

“I am not seeing a guy that wants to be here. What Howard is giving, isn’t championship behavior.”

As you know, Howard has been criticized by many former Lakers for his effort and his body language on the floor. As the Lakers play has suffered on the court, the relationship between Howard and Kobe Bryant has been compared to another Laker duo, Kobe and Shaq. When asked about the off the court distractions, Fox said,

“Once they (Shaq and Kobe) hit the floor, they respected the uniform and fans despite the arguing off the court.”

Fox is the latest to sound off on Dwight Howard as Laker fans continue to be frustrated with him. Whether it’s the quiet responses he gives to the media, or him smiling at the wrong time, Laker fans are wearing thin with Howard’s act. Fox was critical of Dwight’s desire to be a Laker,

“The fans are more passionate about this (Lakers) than he is.”

It will be interesting to see the response Howard gives to these comments, as it seems everyone in Lakerland is frustrated by his actions on and off the floor.
