Andrew Bynum keeps bringing the heat and his playing got him the Western Conference Player of the Week title today. Judged by his playing over the last seven games, Bynum put up some pretty good numbers, averaging 21.8 points, 16.8 rebounds & 1.5 blocks. The past four games, all victories, have been without Kobe Bryant, adding to the value of this title.
During the beginning of Kobe’s absence, Bynum struggled a bit learning how to adjust without Bryant’s support. However, quickly becoming a Lakers powerhouse, Bynum figured out where to improve his personal game. We can’t forget Andrew’s career-high 30 rebounds against the San Antonio Spurs.
