Denver Nuggets v Los Angeles Lakers - Game 2

One month ago, Kobe Bryant began running on an anti-gravity treadmill and brought optimism to a rather dark off-season.

The optimism continues as Bryant has already began running at 75 percent of his body weight and is a few weeks away from full-weight bearing running according to athletic trainer, Gary Vitti.

Bryant is clearly ready for the season as evidenced in an exclusive phone interview with Gulf News. Bryant didn’t want to discuss his place among all-time greats and is ready to win his sixth championship this season.

Despite the negativity, Kobe believes the Lakers can win this season because of the support, spirit, and attitude they’ll have this season.
