With NBA free agency quickly approaching, the Los Angeles Lakers are set on pursuing frontcourt players after passing on Jahlil Okafor in the NBA Draft. That being said, Portland Trail Blazers power forward, LaMarcus Aldridge, is ‘leaning toward’ signing with Los Angeles. The All-Star forward will be meeting with the Lakers immediately after free agency begins on July 1 and adding him to the roster would speed up the rebuilding process.

Another big man the team is keeping their eyes on is Los Angeles Clippers center, DeAndre Jordan. Although free agency has yet to begin, Lakers’ superstar Kobe Bryant has already reached out to Jordan to let him know that the team is interested in signing him this off-season. After meeting Aldridge on Tuesday night, the Lakers will meet with Jordan on Wednesday.
