Lakers News: Team Extends Qualifying Offers to Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris

The Los Angeles Lakers have officially extended qualifying offers to Devin Ebanks and Darius Morris, making them restricted free agents, according to the team’s official Twitter account.

What this essentially means for the team is that if another team makes an offer to Ebanks or Morris the Lakers have the right of first refusal, meaning they can match that offer. So, if another team offers either player a contract proposal the Lakers can match the offer and keep the player.

The team’s plans for each player are still unknown, especially after their playing time was so sporadic last season.
