The Lakers have agreed to terms with second-round draft pick Darius Johnson-Odom the team announced in a statement released Friday. The details of the agreement were not disclosed.
Johnson-Odom was the 55th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks before being acquired by the Lakers. He spent his college days at Marquette where he averaged 15.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 105 career games. He led Marquette in scoring as a senior and was named to First Team All-Big East and was an honorable mention for the All-American team.
This past summer, Johnson-Odom was a member of the Lakers Summer League team in Las Vegas. He averaged 3.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15.8 minutes per game during Summer League.
Johnson-Odom joins Robert Sacre, Greg Somogyi and Reeves Nelson as the fourth rookie currently signed to the Lakers entering training camp.
