Lakers News: Two Lakers In GQ’s Top 20 Most Stylish Athletes

Nick YoungWhile the Lakers haven’t had the start they might have envisioned, two of the teams members were recognized by GQ. According to GQ Magazine, Lakers guards Steve Nash, and Nick Young made the cut for the most stylish athletes despite how different their styles are.

GQ described Nash as an athlete who can successfully use his long, and lean body frame to make any suit look good on him whether it’s a pre-game suit, or slim khakis, or button -downs. Nash has always made it a clear point to enter the arena with a professional, clean cut look. So while his impact on the court this season hasn’t been one of a top 20 player, his style has earned him a spot in the 20 most stylish athletes.

Nick Young made the cut, and presents a completely different fashion looks compared to Nash. Young, who game himself the nickname Swaggy P loves to stunt, and show off his brands. Young doesn’t hide his Versace logo printed on his jackets, nor does he hide his bright blue shoes.

The Lakers are only one of three teams to have multiple members in GQ’s top 20 stylish athletes.
