The Los Angeles Lakers are on a winning streak, and because of it they are now less likely to keep their top-3 protected first-round pick, but it’s not all bad. In the upside-down world of lottery land fans bemoan wins and praise losses, and many Lakers fans have been vocal about their displeasure of the team’s recent winning ways.

On this episode of the Lakers Nation Breakdown, host Trevor Lane will explain why, despite the lower lottery chances, ending the season with a win streak could end up being a blessing in disguise for Los Angeles.

It’s not a comfortable place to be in, nor is it one that fans are used to, but the hope is that the basketball gods will smile upon the purple and gold and provide a path that eventually leads back to the top of the mountain.
