The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Portland Trail Blazers at home Sunday night, but it wasn’t just any other game. The Lakers fell behind by 17 points midway through the first quarter, and Lakers guard Jordan Farmar left the first quarter with a moderate left hamstring strain. Midway through the second, the Lakers rallied and came back to take the lead off a Jodie Meeks three-pointer. Unfortunately for the Lakers, they gave up an opponent season-high 41 third quarter points, and though they managed to close up their 20-point deficit in the fourth quarter, they couldn’t manage to pull through in the end.
In our Lakers post-game videos, Mike D’Antoni addresses Jordan Farmar’s injury and the Lakers shortcomings. Robert Sacre talks about his career-high night of 12 points and seven rebounds. Xavier Henry was impressed with Sacre’s play and also had a career-high night of his own with 27 points on 9-12 shooting. Pau Gasol discusses his benching in the fourth quarter and his ankle injury. Nick Young couldn’t be more happy for Robert Sacre. Check out our post-game videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel!
