The Los Angeles Lakers resumed practice at the Toyota Sports Center on Monday, after almost a full two weeks away from home. The intention was to practice as many guys as possible who were due back from injury, the biggest one being Steve Nash. Unfortunately, Nash “tweaked” his back while at home, in a manner unrelated to any of his previous injuries and was unable to practice. Lakers PR also noted that Nash’s time in Vancouver spent rehabbing “went well,” and they expect him to be back at practice this Thursday.
Jordan Farmar and Steve Blake are inching closer to a return. Both were finally cleared to ramp up basketball-related activities, though neither was given the green light to participate in full practices. Both Xavier Henry and Jodie Meeks had MRIs today as well. Check out our practice videos below and don’t forget to subscribe to our Lakers Nation YouTube Channel.
