Let the countdown begin!
Kobe Bryant appears to be ready to make his return to the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Lakers after eight months of recovery from a torn Achilles tendon. Although many believed Bryant would return against the division rival Sacramento Kings on Friday, the five-time NBA champion will miss at least one more game before getting back on the floor, but the superstar shooting guard made it clear that he’s targeting Sunday against the Toronto Raptors at the Staples Center for his return.
Bryant also talked about Pau Gasol having a more vocal presence on the practice floor.
Head coach Mike D’Antoni spoke about Bryant’s status and Steve Nash trying to battle back from injury.
