On Friday afternoon, the Lakers were participating in their last full practice before their first preseason game, running defensive drills when the media walked in. This weekend should be a great showcase of fresh talent and new players on the Lakers roster, especially with Kobe out and Mike D’Antoni saying that Pau Gasol and Steve Nash will most likely only play in Sunday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
