The rumors keep coming for the Los Angeles Lakers, which tends to happen whenever the team makes an early exit from the post-season. So far names like Kyle Lowry, Dwight Howard and Deron Williams have been floating around the L.A. airwaves.
Now, it seems we have a new name to add to the list according to Chris Palmer of ESPN.
Someone who could help the Lakers: Brandon Roy. Based on what I’m told he could be back in the league next year.

Palmer also mentioned the possibility of the Lakers adding Lamar Odom, another move that seems destined to happen. If the Lakers add Odom and also bring in Roy, their previously dismal second unit just got a whole lot stronger.
Roy and Odom coming off the Lakers bench for about $5M a year? Huge upgrade.

Obviously Roy’s health is a huge concern, as that was the main reason he was forced to retire following the 2010-11 NBA season. But Palmer insists that he’s heard rumblings of a Roy comeback, which could be a positive sign for a Lakers team in need of a facelift.
